How Does The Challenge Work? It's Easy.
Do The Daily Training Challenge. (It Should Only Take You About 30min.)
Have Your Parent Or Yourself If You Are Over 16yrs Text Me That You Completed It.
I Will Mark Your Time Card
And You Won't Miss A Day.
Bonus..... You Are Competing With Other Students For The Most Days Trained.

EXTRA CREDIT
You Will Need a Piece Of Rope (or long shoelace, string)
You Will Need A Bar To String It Over (deck railing, low tree branch)

1. Use the piece of rope to string over the bar.
2. Hold the rope, one end in each hand.
3. Pull the rope with the left hand.
4. Then the right hand, Pull them back and forth.
5. Now pull each hand harder, one hand at a time.
a. do you fell on hand pulling
the weight of the other hand?
You should.

OK - NOW
6. When you pull the right hand push the left hand at the same time.
a. does the rope stop pulling?
b. does the rope get slack?

7. Practice this a few times.  The goal is to pull and push without the rope going slack or pulling the other hand.
a. this is A LOT harder than it sounds!!

My Answer:


PERFECT USE OF HIP 
As one hip pushes forward toward the target the other hip should be pulling backward
away from the target. When perfectly timed, there is no slack nor is one hip pulling
​the other hip forward or backward.

Warm-Up
10 Jumping Jacks
* 4 Counts Each ~ Touch Down Middle - Right Foot - Left Foot - Middle
* Hands On Belt 4 Count Hip Rotations ~ Left - Right
* 4 Count Each Side ~ Stretch Right arm up and over - Left arm up and over

Basic Techniques
4 Counts Each In Front Stance
High Block
Low Block
4 Counts Each In Fight Stance

Sparring Combinations
1.) Bounce / Bounce - Switch - Punch / Punch

* 5 Counts Each ~ Touch Down Middle - Right Foot - Left Foot - Middle
* Hands On Belt 5 Count Hip Rotations ~ Left - Right
* Limber-Up Kick 5 Count Each Side ~ Left - Right 



Kicks
10x Each Side - Back Leg

Inside Outside Kick -Straight leg prep on a 45* angle. Swing the prep
to its highest point before activating the downward action of the hip.

Outside Inside Kick - Bent Knee prep on a 45* angle, Get your foot
up as high as it will go before activating the hip across the target.

Back Kick - Front foot steps across. See the target. Opposite knee preps
as high as it can. Open the gate, turn the heel up towards the target.

Strikes
Start and Stay in Horse Stance
Middle Punch- 
use hip for each punch  (pull & push the hip)
High Punch- use hip for each punch, plant those feet in horse stance.
Side Punch- look before you punch, use hip from side to side with out moving feet, use
the edge of your horse stance feet to help push your hip.


FORMS
White Belts  Basic 1 -  2X each


Orange Belts- Basic 2
